FRIENDS OF CONGREGATION BETH YAM
A synagogue is where Judaism is nurtured and the Jewish community is created and maintained. We continue to keep our dues at affordable levels, but they only cover 60% of our operational costs. Additional financial support is needed to enrich our congregational life through quality programs and services and to foster the mitzvah of tzedakah that recognizes our obligation to ensure that every Jewish family that wants to be a part of our congregational family has that opportunity. The Friends of Beth Yam allow us to excel in these areas. Your gift, no matter how large or small, can make a difference in our congregational life and allow us to continue to shine as the center of Jewish spiritual and communal life in the Lowcountry. Congregation Beth Yam is a tax-exempt organization pursuant to the IRS. You should check with your accountant to determine whether you can deduct all, or any part, of your payments. If you have any questions, call the Temple office at 843-689-2178.
